My food and jewellery videos

I started making video on our traditional food in my native language in Tamil. I give lot of tips while making, because I intend people who are just learning cooking to benefit from those tips.. Just like I am passionate about our traditional jewellery I am equally passionate about our traditional food which is full of nutrition and some medicinal values.

The food is traditional but not prepared in the traditional way, because then that would mean that I have lot of open spaces where we can put all our vessels and stoves.

After all what can we leave to the next generation other than History?
Very soon I will be uploading many videos on jewellery making; all types of jewellery making and stories.. Watch out...

Second oppurtunity to display my jewellery based on my Faith, at the Laura I Gallery

This is the second time, my jewellery is getting selected in a competition. This time the theme was Codes of Faith and I displayed a jewellery that has been my faith for all these years.

Jewellery workshop in London

I love to share to knowledge and also meet new people. It is always nice to see their reactions after they have made jewellery. They usually are so happy about it.

I conducted a jewellery workshop on Friday and they were so happy that they gave amazing feedback.

An engaging jewellery workshop at the London Quandrant office in Stratford yesterday. Amazing ladies. It is always lovely to meet and interact with new people, understand their interests, their perpectives.

Instagram - did not have choice

I am not a social media person. I love to meet people and exchange ideas, information etc.

When I heard about facebook, was perplexed. How can that be possible. I was in touch with all friends.  I did not need facebook.

But when I started "Myidentityforwomen", I realized I need some medium to reach out to people to tell them what we do.

Facebook helped a lot to reach to people.
But now that I am here in London with my own jewellery brand "Carline Perulla", I needed another medium to post the pictures of my jewellery as and when I make.

If you use technology as needed then it is indeed a boon.

Artists' meet at the Laura I Gallery

All the artists'  that displayed in the Laura I Gallery met and we were interviewed. The private show was aired in the local TV in London and it was covered by newspapers.

It was a delight to talk about inspirations and meet other artists and understand their interpretations.
