Everyone likes recognition and applause.
I have been doing jewellery for the past 10 years, and all the time, I feel only that I am admiring it.
In Tamil, they have a saying. I am translating it. It goes like this, "The crow always thinks that its baby is gold"
May be because I made it, I am admiring it always. Sometimes the piece that I like the most does not sell.
I always wondered. Why people are not buying this, and I have been searching for that customer who will buy the jewellery that I always loved.
So that I can connect with them immediately. It has still not happened. Well not in a way that I expected.
But today, I think I have got my share of cake.
I sent three pieces to the competition at the last moment. I did not know about the competition till the last two days.
But then I thought, let me try. And what happened, today I get a mail telling that my jewellery has been selected for the finals to be displayed in the Gallery. What an overwhelming feeling and full of happiness. I am still not out of it. So grateful to God, for showering his blessings. I am singing and dancing.
Thought will share with all of you'll.
